Vigna Maggiore 2020 tells the story of Montecrestese, in the northern Ossola Valley, through Nebbiolo, Merlot and Croatina. A red balancing structure, softness and aromatic complexity.

In the glass

Garnet colour with woodland, hazelnut and dark-fruit notes. Smoke and toast mingle with dried plum; the palate has structure and soft tannins.

From cellar to table

Vinification is followed by ageing in French oak and maturation in bottle. The wood contributes aromatic texture alongside the fruit.

Pairing and serving

Serve at 17 °C with white meats, first courses and cheeses, as suggested by the winery.
